For some people it could sound a little bit ridiculous that in the middle of the 21th century a college player were dismissed from his basketball team as result of having sex with his girlfriend, but it is exactly what happened to a BYU’s student and basketball player. Brandon Davies met with the school officials on Monday where he was dismissed from BYU’s basketball team after admitted to having sex with his girlfriend. According to BYU’s honor code, students are forbidden from having premarital sex, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, tea, coffee, and substance abuse; they have to assist regularly to the church and live a chaste and virtuous life. This happened last week at the men’s college basketball contest between Idaho State and Utah State.
