Justice Comes to Notre Dame

Last Friday, running back Justice Hayes announced his decision to commit to the state of Indiana and join the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame once and for all.

He made his announcement sooner than expected, given that he’d told the press he would take his time to gauge his options and decide sometime during his senior season.

Obviously something must have happened for him to make his commitment without taking these considerations. Whatever it was, we can only be happy for Hayes and hope the best to him and the rest of the Fighting Irish. Get information on how to obtain superior Bookie Software.

“When I hit Notre Dame it just felt right when I was there and from there I was ready to end it,” he said. “I was getting tired of the media, and coaches are not even allowed to call me yet and I’m still already tired of it.

I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle it when all the coaches can call me so I was like, let me hang this up, no need for me to stall it and wait, let’s just get it over with now.”

Notre Dame is certainly looking strong after the addition of Hayes to the 2011 team thanks to first-year head coach Brian Kelly. Together with Ben Koyack and Matt Hegarty, this Indiana University has put together a strong offensive for the season.

Justice Hayes is 5’10’’ and weighs 180 pounds. He has rushed for 1,295 yards and 12 TDs as a junior, powering the Bobcats to a 9-1 record. Hayes currently holds the 59th spot in the MaxPreps 2011 Top 100 list and he is the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan.

In his decision to commit to Notre Dame, Hayes rejected Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Northwestern and Tennessee as possible candidates.
