NBA: Coach Del Negro Leaves LA Clippers

It wasn’t particularly good news for Los Angeles Clippers fans, who despite the results in the former 2012-14 NBA playoffs, seemed pretty satisfied with the team’s performances throughout the regular season. Still, the Clippers administration decided to not resign coach Vinny Del Negro and his official exit from the team was announced this last Tuesday, May 21st.

It’s not common to see a successful coach walk away from a solid squad that was able to feat in one its most successful seasons. In fact, this last 2012-13 NBA season was one of the most successful in the history of the LA franchise.

NBA: Spurs Outlast Grizzlies

It was simply another brilliant night for the San Antonio Spurs who despite running the game longer than expected were still able to pull a solid victory to lead the series. It was the Spurs who were able to pull a 93-89 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies at the AT&T Center in Texas, to lead the Western conference finals 2-0.

Despite losing some dominance right around the 4th quarter, the Spurs were able to pull back and regroup the squad to come out on top with a solid home victory. NBA: Chris Hansen Continues to Pursue Seattle Franchise

The Sacramento Kings debate was settled just a few weeks ago and after a firm voting assembly the franchise was set to remain in Northern California. Still, Chris Hansen announced that he’s not giving up on his attempts to bring basketball back to Seattle.

Hansen publicly congratulated Sacramento mayor Kevin Johnson for his outstanding commitment regarding the Kings stay in the Capital of California. Still, Hansen announced that this has inspired him as well to pursue the establishment of a franchise in Seattle.

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to establish and reform their new squad for the 2013-14 NBA season with the hopes of bringing up the team to the level it had been characterized with for the last few seasons. Once again Howard has not revealed any insights regarding his prolonged stay in Los Angeles. The rivalry between the two contenders of the Eastern Conference final continues to intensity pre-game forecasts which appear unclear at determining and thus establishing, unanimously, who will rise with the title.

The San Antonio Spurs were able to strike first in the Western Conference finals with a solid victory this last Sunday, May 19th, at the AT&T Center in Texas. It was San Antonio who was able to crush the Memphis Grizzlies with a substantial 105-83 home win in game to take the lead.

The Spurs continue to demonstrate why they have recently assumed the role as the favorite Western-conference seed to reach the NBA finals and hopefully snatch the NBA championship title. The NYC local squad was finally able to shine in their great city and demonstrate that the series is still not over. In this case the New York Knicks were able to pull a solid 85-75 home victory over the Indiana Pacers this last Thursday, May 16^th, at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

NBA: Spurs Out-Shadow Warriors

The San Antonio Spurs were able to pull a solid victory this last Thursday, May 16^th, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland California. It was not an easy match considering the given Western conference semifinal series, yet the Spurs were able to outshine the Golden State Warriors with a 94-82 away victory to shut down the series.

The Spurs were simply on top of their game throughout the entire match, and one victory was all the team needed. It was Tim Duncan who was able to lead the Spurs with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Once again the Memphis Grizzlies continue to prove why odds, despite their ability to diminish and destroy credibility, are nothing more than mere statistical predictions that seem to not prove anything with given certainty. In this case the Grizzlies were able to pull a solid 88-84 away victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena this last Wednesday, May 15^th, to shut down the series.

The Miami Heat was able to prove this last Wednesday, May 15^th, at the American Airlines Arena in South Florida why they currently stand as the most favored team to take the 2012-13 NBA Championship title. The Heat was able to shine over the Chicago Bulls by pulling a solid yet slight 94-91 home victory to shut down the series.
