Andrew Luck Is Good, But What About The Rest?
Andrew Luck will be officially signing with the Colts on Thursday as the NFL draft’s number one pick, and there is speculation as to how much actual luck the player will need to succeed in the league concerning the current Indianapolis roster, especially when it comes to their offense, as they released Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai and lost Jeff Saturday (who signed with the Packers), and Pierre Garcon (who went on to sign with Washington).
If the Colts are committed to give their offense a much needed revamp, they certainly have options concerning their picks, and some of the players that they can choose from include wide receivers Kendall Wright (Baylor), Alshon Jeffery (South Carolina), Stephen Hill (Georgia Tech) and Rueben Randle (LSU). Also Stanford’s tight end Coby Fleener, offensive linemen Jeff Allen of Illinois and Kevin Zeitler and Peter Konz from Wisconsin.
Nadal wins Monte Carlo Masters Title
Novak Djokovic was defeated by Rafael Nadal in 2 sets, and this allowed the Spaniard to get his eight straight title at the Monte Carlo Masters. This was the twentieth Masters title conquered by Nadal (one more than Roger Federer), and was also the first title he obtains since he won the French Open last year. The win also served as a revenge for Nadal, who was defeated by the Serbian at the Australian Open Final this year. On the win, the Spanish tennis player mentioned that “Winning against Novak in the final after losing a few ones is important for me. My level of tennis was high during the last four matches.”
Some of the best defensive linemen at the upcoming NFL draft
Quinton Coples / Defensive End / North Carolina: This is a top-15 dominant player that has a tremendous potential, and he will be bringing his outstanding hands and footwork to one of the teams with the first picks.
Fletcher Cox / Defensive tackle / Mississippi State: This player is really quick and has length, and his instincts and intelligence also allow him to be comfortable playing end, which makes him more versatile than other DT’s.
Nick Perry / Defensive end / Southern California: This guy is doubtless one of the top pass rushers that will be available at the draft. He possesses quick hands and always delivers a very physical performance, though he still needs to become better against the run, but his great work ethic will certainly make that possible for him.
