It is official: Rafael Nadal will be facing Novak Djokovic at the Final of the Australian Open, this after the Serbian managed to defeat Andy Murray in five sets at the semifinals yesterday. Djokovic is the current champion of this tournament and on playing another final here; he said that “There are no words to describe how I’m feeling now. Another final and I’m extremely delighted. Evans vs Davis tomorrow on Fox

Tomorrow on UFC on Fox, Phil Davis will be fighting against Rashad Evans in the main card event, and the winner will be aiming at a shot for the Light Heavyweight title, which is currently in the hands of Jon Jones from the United States. Some people say it is too early for Davis to face Evans, who is considered the best contender for Jones, and it is safe to say that not many critics are giving “Mr. Wonderful” the advantage on this bout. On the other hand, Davis is a young fighter that hasn’t lost a fight yet, and the pressure this time is not on him, but on Evans, who is the favorite to win the bout.

NY Without Anthony against Heat

The Knicks will be without Carmelo Anthony when the New York team faces the Heat today, and to make it worst for the struggling NY franchise, Miami is getting Dwayne Wade back in their starting lineup.  On not counting with Melo, Head Coach Mike D’Antoni mentioned that “He’s just struggling through some ankle and wrist and hand injuries and he just can’t perform the way he needs to or the way he wants to. We decided, the medical staff thought it would be best to take the weekend off. Maybe Tuesday.”

Philbin on the future of the Dolphins

New Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin promises Miami fans that the team is going to be more aggressively-minded when it comes to offense, though he pointed out that since the team still doesn’t have the name of their quarterback for next season, he asked fans to trust in the process by saying that “ I’m going to ask fans to have faith. We want to build a foundation to deliver consistent success. When is that going to be? I don’t have a crystal ball. Once we assemble the right people and spend time with them, we’ll get excellent results.”
