Carlos Zambrano will return to the Chicago Cubs' starting rotation on Monday against the San Francisco Giants, manager Lou Piniella said on Wednesday. First baseman Ryan Howard suffered a sprained left ankle injury last Sunday afternoon while sliding into second base in the contest against the Nationals in Washington. Due to Howard’s injury, the Philadelphia Phillies were forced to place him on the 15-day disabled list; however, the Phillies said that the sprain is moderate. Ozzie Guillen says his comments about Latino baseball players have been taken out of context. The outspoken manager of the White Sox said over the weekend that Asian players are given privileges in the United States that Latinos are not afforded.
