While Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban is still in negotiations with Charlie Sheen, Sheen has already been incorporated into some of the team’s promotion department productions. Some clips from Sheen interviews were used over the loudspeakers during the last game at the American Airlines Center. And some of the players, including star Dirk Nowitzki, are enjoying the feeling of being a Sheen themselves. Recently Nowitzki shot a video to promote his bobblehead night that features him flexing while staring in a mirror and ends with Nowitzki deadpanning, "Boom. Winning." "Winning" and "tiger blood" have become buzzwords after Sheen used them on his battle against CBS after they fired... more

Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks has been having several conversations with who we could consider the most popular guy in the last few weeks. Of course, we are talking about Charlie Sheen who became famous in the popular sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” from which Sheen was fired due to personal issues with the CBS weeks ago. Cuban confirmed Sunday that he has been in conversations with Sheen recently about developing programming for HDNet, the cable network Cuban owns. "You've got somebody that everybody has a whole lot of interest in who's doing some interesting things, to say the least, and we always look for interesting programming by featuring interesting people doing interesting things," Cuban said. "I reached out and we've had some conversation... more

San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker suffered a sore calf muscle during Sunday’s win against Memphis. Parker collided with Grizzlies guard Mike Conley in the second quarter of the game; he didn’t return to the game. Parker has started every game of the Spur’s season but he will miss two to four weeks due to his left calf being strained. “When Tony’s on the court the whole dynamic of the team changes,” Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said after Sunday’s victory. “He’s so good at breaking the first line and finding open teammates or finishing. He gives us another great weapon offensively.” Get information on how to start your business using pay per head.... more

Boston Celtics shooting guard Delonte West is closer than ever from his full recovery. He has been struggling with a broken wrist that has kept him out of the court for most of the season. But this may change soon, since he recently went back into practice. West is expected to play February 22nd against Golden State if his recovery turns out well.

Without West, Boston has had trouble handling the ball and making the right passes. West has proven to be essential to the team’s defense and his jump shots have been missed.

Delonte West was signed by the Boston Celtics on September 1, 2010 (although he had played for the Celtics before in 2004-2006). In the 2010-11 season, West has accumulated an average of 6.8 points per game, 1.80 rebounds per game, 2.0 assists per game, wit... more

Wild Bill has done it again. The Disney-loving fan of Utah State dressed up as Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast and armed only with the power of song, he managed to distract Nevada’s player at the free throw line. The crowd followed his lead in the all time classic “I’m a Little Teapot”, ultimately making him fumble the shot. It’s hilarious. It’s not the first time we see old Bill pulling something like this, and is likely not to be the last. This pretty much tells us which is the best student section in the country. Watch the video below and see for yourself.
